Maccabi Canada eligibility qualifications* for being considered a Jewish athlete:
(1) At least one of the athlete’s biological parents is Jewish
(2) The athlete does not actively practice another religion besides Judaism
(3) The athlete has converted to Judaism by one of the recognized denominations of Judaism
Each athlete must be willing to sign a document stating they are Jewish and be
able to produce statements from two individuals (who are not family members)
that can confirm they are Jewish by the eligibility qualifications listed above.
