Maccabi Canada Presents Junior, Youth and Masters Swimming Team
TORONTO, APRIL 24, 2017 – Maccabi Canada is pleased to announce the athletes selected for the Junior (Under 16), Youth (Under 18) and Masters Swimming team set to compete in the 20th Maccabiah Games in Israel from July 4-18.
These athletes are apart of a more than 600-member delegation from Canada, who will join a total of 10,000 Jewish athletes from 80 countries in the third largest sporting event in the world.
Supported by Coach David Ling and Manager Samara Grintuch, the Junior and Youth teams are composed of: Alex Aronovici, Ry Cyna, Breanna Di Battista, Ysabel Fine, Maya Ginzburg, Sydney Hnatuk, Caileigh Luis, Talia Moss, Eli Offman, Megan Pearlman, Maxim Petkun, Jonathan Pike, Maxwell Sacksner, Joseph Samuel, Beverly Schwartz, Lauren Shaffer, Caroline Souroujon, Grace Valihora, Theo Collins, Sarah Fedder, Joshua Gold, Vanessa Gold, David Hartal, Dana Sherrard and Chad Walt.
Supported by manager Teddy Miller, the Masters team is composed of: Anthony Housefather, Stephanie Klam, Eddy Lang, Elise Levinoff, Nathalie Lussier, Jordan Rosenzweig, Ami Trauber, and Alan Woolf.
