Maccabi Canada Presents Open and Masters Mens Hockey Teams

TORONTO, MAY 30, 2017 – Maccabi Canada is pleased to announce the athletes selected for the Open and Masters Mens Hockey teams set to compete in the 20th Maccabiah Games in Israel from July 4-18.

These athletes are part of a more than 600-member delegation from Canada, who will join a total of 10,000 Jewish athletes from 80 countries in the third largest sporting event in the world.

Open Team
Supported by Coach Adam Shell and Manager Lewis Allen, the team is composed of: Devon Becker, Kyle Becker, Aaron Berisha, Beni Berisha, Jake Danson, Jonah Goodman, Jacob Hanlon, Corey Kalk, Ryan Kruss, Jacob Meltzer, Daniel Radke, Billy Seligman, Matthew Shuckett, Jordan Simon, Zachary Smith, Zachary Springer and Zachary Sternberg.  

Masters Team Supported by Coach Jeff Snyder, the team is composed of: Leonard Asper, Aaron Cohen, David Davidson, Jeffery Farkas, Ron Fine, Steven Forberg, Shawn Frydberg, Cory Gelmon, ,Paul Gurza, Anthony Kirstein, Jonathan Levy, Laurie Litwin, Howard Manis, Robbie Manis, Russell Masters, Brian Mendelson, Earl Morris, Launy Schwartz, Avi Steinberg, and Brian Wilks.
