Maccabi Canada’s sports programs provide the young athlete the opportunity to develop their skills and passion for sports in a fun, positive, and supportive environment. Maccabi Canada’s qualified coaches are committed to advancing the skills of the individual athlete by teaching the fundamentals and skills of the game, team camaraderie, sportsmanship and building player confidence. Supporting the program are Maccabi Sports Liaisons, who will focus on athlete care, a warm and fun environment, and will assist the coach at each session.

Grades 1 and 2 – RED LEVEL
This is a great indoor progressive tennis intro program. Large sponge balls and teaching aids are used for an easy and fun learning experience . The program consists of racket & balls skills, movement and balance exercises, space and depth perception exercises, coverage of most tennis strokes (forehand, backhand, volley and serve), and will also include fun games. No previous tennis experience is required. All equipment is supplied.
Grades 3 and 4 – BLUE LEVEL
The Blue level participants use sponge balls and/or red low compression balls on a indoor mini court environment. Children will learn all the tennis strokes, and the program consists of a variety of drills and exercises covering movement, balance, space and depth perception, and ball control skills. Children will experience a variety of fun games that emulate point play as well and learn to rally with the coach. Participants will also learn to play points and matches against one another and against the coach. No previous tennis experience is required. All equipment is supplied
**NOTE: Maccabi Canada reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment. Minimum enrollment is 10 participants.
