Maccabi Canada Presents Junior Basketball Teams

TORONTO, MAY 23, 2017 – Maccabi Canada is pleased to announce the athletes selected for the Junior Boys and Junior Girls Basketball teams set to compete in the 20th Maccabiah Games in Israel from July 4-18.
These athletes are part of a more than 600-member delegation from Canada, who will join a total of 10,000 Jewish athletes from 80 countries in the third largest sporting event in the world.

Junior Boys Team Supported by Coach Kevin Fuks and Manager Aaron Richman, the team is composed of: Jared Boidman, Shayne Bregman, Shimon Dohan, Tyson Dunn, Gabriel Elbaz, Erik Fuks, David Ratner-Nemirovski, Jared Silver, Benjamin Tarek-Kaminker, Jacob Waltman, Evan Wechsler and David Znaty.  

Youth Boys Team Supported by Coach Vladimir Kovalevsky, Manager Andre Serero and David Serero, the team is composed of: Jonah Autmezguine, Yaakob Bendayan, Ben Blackman, Benjamin Cader-Beutel, Daniel Cohen, Even Deveraux, Max Eisernberg, Samuel Eisenberg, Michael Mekurow, Zachary Plax, Noah Sochaczevski and Sean Wayne.

Junior Girls Team Supported by coach Amy Sherman and Manager Dana O’Born, the team is composed of: Caitlin Chichora, Samantha Eisman, Sophie Groll, Jessica Hartog, Sydnie Miller, Michelle Morris, Kara Moscovitz, Kyra Pollak, Hallie Rodney, Audrey Shiner and Breanne Woogman.
