Maccabi Canada Presents Junior Boys Hockey Team

TORONTO, MAY 29, 2017
– Maccabi Canada is pleased to announce the athletes selected for the Men’s Junior Hockey team set to compete in the 20th Maccabiah Games in Israel from July 4-18.  
These athletes are part of a more than 600-member delegation from Canada, who will join a total of 10,000 Jewish athletes from 80 countries in the third largest sporting event in the world.

Supported by Coach Mario Cicchillo and Manager Paul Litman, the team is composed of: Joshua Forberg, Maxwell Gerlock, Jeremy Glied-Beliak, Shea Gorenstein, Noah Heisler, Saul Khalifa, Dylan Kruss, Hunter Litman, Cameron Duke Litwin, Max McLean, Eric Meche, Harley Michaels, Carson Modlin, Kyle Oberfeld, Elijah Pilosof, Dustin Pulver, Jake Sigal, Daniel Torch, Cameron Weitzman and Jordan Zweig.

Maccabi Canada’s mission is to promote Jewish identity and to cultivate future leaders through the passion of sports. Every four years, the Maccabiah Games brings Jewish athletes of all ages to Israel, providing world-class athletic competition as well as an opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich culture and heritage of the Jewish people.
