Maccabi Canada Presents Softball Teams

TORONTO, MAY 2, 2017 – Maccabi Canada is pleased to announce the athletes selected for the Open Women's, Open Men’s Softball and Masters teams set to compete in the 20th Maccabiah Games in Israel from July 4-18.

These athletes are apart of a more than 600-member delegation from Canada, who will join a total of 10,000 Jewish athletes from 80 countries in the third largest sporting event in the world.

Open Women's Team - Supported by David MacCallum and Manager Rosemary Theriault, the team is composed of: Hayley Bennett, Rachel Bugis, Amanda Greenberg, Rebecca Lazarus, Samantah Maccallum, Taylor Mennie, Maya Sohn, Amanda Starr, Molly Tissenbaum and Lauren Weisbarth.

Open Men's Team - Supported by Coach Daniel Berlin and Manager Morrie Frydberg, the team is composed of: Les Bernstein, Robert Bohbot, Jason Dinetz, Sean Dollinger, Paul Foucault Jr., Robert Goodman, Randy Hoffman, Daniel Iagodkine, Joshua McKinlay, Daniel Osterer, Jacob Osterer, Robbie Osterer, Stephen Osterer and Adam Sargon.

Masters Team - Supported by Coach Roddy Wetherell, the team is composed of: Mark Bendahan, Steven Bleiwas, Robert Cooper, Stephen Goldsmith, David Goldstein, Colin Halpern, David Katz, Michael Krestell, Murray Margolis, John Marshall, Jeffrey Michaels, and Gavin Ziv.
