Maccabi Canada has a long-standing partnership with the Canada–Israel Hockey School, based in Israel’s northernmost community of Metula.

In the winter of 2024, Maccabi Canada proudly hosted members of the Israeli Junior National Hockey Team for a joint training experience alongside Canadian athletes and coaches.

In January 2026, Maccabi Canada will welcome young hockey athletes from the Canada–Israel Hockey School to Toronto, where they will participate in a tournament with Canadian athletes from the local community. The special event will include training in a state of the art facility at the Honey and Barry Memorial Arena and training with Gary Roberts HPT professional trainers, and Stanley Cup Champions Jake Muzzin and Kyle Clifford. The main event will include over 90 athletes from our community coming together for this meaningful event.
