Maccabi Canada Presents Gymnastic Teams

TORONTO, MAY 17, 2017 – Maccabi Canada is pleased to announce the athletes selected for the Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastic teams set to compete in the 20th Maccabiah Games in Israel from July 4-18.
These athletes are part of a more than 600-member delegation from Canada, who will join a total of 10,000 Jewish athletes from 80 countries in the third largest sporting event in the world.

Artistic Team Supported by Becky Caplan, the team is composed of: Deborah Hannah Greenbaum, Lilly-Riva Groszman, Molly Kohn, Hannah Lefton and Sophia Ogburn.

Rhythmic Team Supported by Coach Ania Korkh, the team is composed of: Haley Miller, Galia Oliel-Sabbag and Fira Katchan.

Maccabi Canada’s mission is to promote Jewish identity and to cultivate future leaders through the passion of sports.
