Tomer Chencinski visits Maccabi youth training

Posted on December 23, 2016

It was an exciting week for former Maccabi Canada captain Tomer Chencinski, now professional goal keeper, as he signed with the Shamrock Rovers in the top league in Ireland.
Tomer is in the midst of an unbelievable professional career which has included playing in the top league in Sweden as well as playing two seasons for Maccabi Tel Aviv at which point he played for the Canadian Men's National Team.

This past Sunday was an amazing day for the Maccabi Rep Soccer players as they had a fun scrimmage with Tomer, who came out to play with his former team mates, Maccabi Rep Soccer coaches Gil Vainshtein and Jason Mausberg. Both the U04/05 and U01/02 teams were fresh off wins in the CAF league and pumped to play with a professional soccer player.  The U01/02 team is currently undefeated with 6 wins and 0 losses sitting in first place.  These stats are outstanding as they play against teams one and two years older.

Tomer posed for pics with the kids and answered questions. He is heading back to Europe in a few weeks to join his new team.
